Beaver Dam Child Care was originally created by our church as a service to the community. It began in the fall of 1969 for preschool beginning at age 3 and for after school care. Children are picked up from Halls Elementary and Adrian Burnett Elementary Schools. We are licensed by the State of Tennessee, Dept. of Human Services to serve 165 children. The purpose of our early childhood program is to promote the development of the total child - Physical, Emotional, Intellectually, Spiritually, and Socially using age-appropriate activities under the guidance of a loving and caring staff. The Preschool classes use The Creative Curriculum, which is based on interest centers within the classroom. Each week a different theme is used as a focus for developmental learning activities and experiences. We are committed and delighted to provide a caring, happy and healthy environment for the children of Beaver Dam Child Care. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM.
