Rev. Randy Smyth, B.A., MDiv
Randy earned a B.A. in Psychology (U.T. Knoxville) and a MDiv (Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary). His current studies will lead to a PhD in Christian Counseling (Fall 2011).
A member of the National Christian Counselor's Association, Randy is a professional clinical member, a certified temperament counselor and a certified marriage and family counselor, as well as a certified pastoral member of the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling. He led grief seminars and previously worked for the Abundant Life Christian Counseling Center.
"I view counseling as an opportunity to help others and share the love of Christ. We live in a hurting world, and people need to realize there is hope in all situations. That hope is in Jesus Christ. If He can use me to help others through life's decisions and choices, I have fulfilled my calling."
