Vicki Courtney is an author and speaker with a ministry that reaches over 150,000 people a year through events, books, and online resources. A mother herself to three children, she seeks to provide women with the tools necessary to navigate today’s culture. She has done hundreds of radio and newspaper interviews and appeared on CNN, Fox News, and CNN Headline News as a youth culture commentator to address various issues impacting tweens and teens. She is the creator of VirtuousReality.com, an online magazine for teen girls, which has attracted visitors from all 50 states and over 30 countries. She is a national speaker to women of all ages and the best-selling author of numerous books including, 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Daughter, 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Son, Your Girl, Your Boy, TeenVirtue, and Between.
Vicki is a two-time ECPA Christian Book Award winner (2006: TeenVirtue: Real Issues, Real Life…A Teen Girl’s Survival Guide; 2008: TeenVirtue Confidential) In addition, Vicki has authored a series of magabooks for the tween audience (ages 8-12), called Between. She is the author of several popular Bible studies for women including The Virtuous Woman and Get A Life! as well as a DVD Bible study for teen girls, His Girl and DVD Bible studies for moms, Your Girl, and 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Daughter. Her newest release is 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Son, which is a CBA Top 50 best-seller. A Bible study adaptation of the book, along with an accompanying DVD is also available under the same title.
Vicki is a graduate of The University of Texas, but the title she is most proud of is wife and mother. Vicki and her husband, Keith reside in Austin, Texas where they are fortunate enough to have their children in the same town. Hayden, their youngest, is a student at The University of Texas. Ryan, their oldest, and his wife, Casey are both Auburn graduates. They also have a daughter, Paige, recently married to Matt, who are also Auburn graduates. Vicki enjoys running, shoe shopping, spending time at the lake with her family. She is also quite fond of her two pint-sized Yorkshire terriers, Lexie and Scout who she claims are the additional children her husband refused to have. Her topics for 2012 center on topics essential for every woman. You don't want to miss her only live appearance in Tennessee this year.
