Blue Sheets

Blue sheets are informative handouts distributed weekly to parents of teenagers. These are given out in adult Sunday School classes. They are called Blue Sheets because they are always printed on blue paper. They contain current announcements that pertain to students and parents as well as an article. Each week the article comes from the youth pastor or from a article that the youth pastor has found on-line. These are to make parents more informed of what is going on in the lives of teenagers.

Lyrics

Lyrics is a link to a website that will allow you the parent to research and find the lyrics to the songs that your student is listening to on their Ipod, Mp3 player, or radio. This site is not sensored so if the song contains a curse word, then it will be displayed in the lyric. I believe this is a very helpful website for determining exactly what a song is talking about. Lyrics is well worth your time to look at and research.

CPYU

CPYU stands for Center for Parent/Youth Understanding. This is the site that many of the Blue Sheet articles come from. This site is a must for each and every parent. It is updated daily with information pertaining to the world in which students live. There are tons of articles and research posted and much of it is free. It is definitely worth your time as a parent to check out this site .
