Welcome to the online world of Beaver Dam Baptist Church! We're glad you've stopped by and hope you'll browse around for a while. We're located in the beautiful city of Knoxville, TN so if you live nearby, we'd love to have you visit us in person. You don't even have to be a VOL fan to attend, though many of our members are. I'm not included in that number! I'm a University of Georgia graduate and avid fan.
Beaver Dam has a rich history of proclaiming the gospel message for over two hundred years, but we believe our best years lie ahead. The north side of Knoxville, known as Halls to the locals, is rapidly growing and changing. New homes pop up everywhere replacing the farmland that dominated this area of Knox County for decades. Into those homes move people who need the ministry of a local church. We believe we exist as a church to meet these people at life's crossroads.
What's a crossroad in life, you ask? Well, you might initially think it's some dramatic moment of time or a tragedy that strikes out of nowhere. That would certainly qualify. We believe, though, that life's crossroads are encountered everyday as we make both small and significant decisions. Those daily decisions determine our character and mold our future. That's why we need the wisdom of God's Word to shape our minds and transform our hearts.
At Beaver Dam you'll discover that God's Word is not just something we honor, but it's our textbook for study and our guidebook for life. In it we discover the way of eternal life and the wisdom for abundant life. We'd like for you to join us in this journey.
