Rev. Mike Bundon, Minister of Music

Mike came to Beaver Dam Baptist Church in June 1982. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College (Music) as well as the University of Tennessee (Masters in Education and Music Performance). Mike served other Tennessee churches prior to starting a lengthy ministry at Beaver Dam.

The Bundon family began in December, 1975 when Mike married Joy Blake. Over the years, the family grew to include Jonathan, Michaela and Lesley. Jonathan and wife Heather have a son and daughter and live in North Carolina where Jonathan is Minister of Music and Worship at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.  Michaela and husband Jason are in ministry in the Birmingham area, and Lesley is an MD doing her residency.

Mike retired from Beaver Dam on June 10, 2012 but remains as Minister of Music Emeritus.   He continues to minister throughout the Southern Baptist Convention using his gifts and talents to glorify our Lord.
