At Life's Crossroads
DiscipleNow 2010
RECAP
Our 11th DiscipleNow was a wonderful weekend as we saw 128 students come into 14 BDBC Church members homes.  They were meet by 22 of our very own college aged Bible study leaders and were challenged from God's Word to live a life that brings Glory to the Father instead of self.

DosomethingNow
This year we added an element to DiscipleNow entitled DosomethingNow which was an effert to help students put feet to their faith.  We challenged all participants in DiscipleNow to do 3 things: Can It; Bag It; & Serve.

Can It - Each participant was challenged to bring a can of food in order to restock the BDBC food pantry. Goal was 176 cans.
We received 204 cans!

Bag It - Each Host Home (consisting of kids, college leader, & host parents) were challenged to not only purchase the items need to fill a bag of food for hungry people of our community but to stuff it and bring it back to church.  Goal was 14 bags.
We received 15 bags!

Serve - each Host Home (consisting of kids, college leader, & host  parents) were challenged to participate in a mission/service project in the Knoxville area.  Projects included Halls Hospice, Halls Elm Croft, Florence Crittenton, Restoration House, Lost Sheep, & Angelic. All homes participated and did a fabulous job.
