The following are 8 Core Doctrines with an additional 6 nuanced clarifications to give you insight into what we as a church believe that the Bible communicates

We as a church, from babies to senior adults, studied 8 core doctrines (Core Curriculum) in the span of a calendar year (September 2021-August 2022). The Core Curriculum was our attempt to unify our membership over the course of a year around the basic orthodox tenants of biblical Christianity as acknowledged by Southern Baptists and practiced at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

We focused on 8 Units of study that lasted 6 weeks with a few additional weeks added in for Easter and Christmas. Each tenant was built from a passage of Scripture that was expected to be memorized by all participants. Additionally, there was a catechism to summarize each week’s lesson.

If you are interested in seeing any of the lessons please contact Scott Hood and he would be happy to share a Word document lesson with you.
